ASAR – Animal Search and Rescue

This 8-hour course focuses on companion animal and large animal behavior, handling, and triage during disasters in both field and shelter environments.

One of the biggest highlights of this training is the live animal handling exercises in the afternoon. You’ll have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned while working with both companion animals and large animals in realistic scenarios. Hands-on training like this is invaluable and will help build your confidence and skills for real disaster deployments.
