ICS 100/700: Introduction to the National Incident Management System and Incident Command System Combined Course

This condensed course provides and introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Management System (ICS). Participants will learn the basic structure and principles of ICS and how NIMS guides incident coordination across agencies.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
- Describe key NIMS concepts and the purpose of ICS.
- Identify basic ICS roles and management characteristics.
- Recognize how ICS, EOCs, JIS, and MAC Groups work together during incidents.
The intended audience(s) are personnel involved with emergency planning, response, or recovery efforts. All training and course materials are provided at no cost to participants or their agencies. Travel, accommodations, and meals are the responsibility of the attendee.
Participants must register through the Delaware Learning Center (DLC).
