ICS 200: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response (Day 2)

ICS 200 introduces personnel to essential supervisory responsibilities within the Incident Command System (ICS). The course builds on ICS 100 by reviewing core ICS principles, leadership roles, and organizational structure, and explains how ICS operates within NIMS to support effective, coordinated incident management.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
- Identify key ICS roles, organizational components, and management
characteristics - Explain delegation of authority, management by objectives, and command
transitions - Apply ICS principles to manage incidents, briefings, and operations
This course is intended for supervisory-level personnel involved in emergency planning, response, or recovery across all disciplines, including fire, law enforcement, EMS, public works, healthcare, education, and other government or partner agencies.
All training and course materials are provided at no cost to participants or their agencies. Travel, accommodations, and meals are the responsibility of the attendee.
Participants must register through the Delaware Learning Center (DLC).
