Hybrid CERT – Practical Skills Training (Day 2)

The Practical Skills Training is the second part of the 2-part learning experience covering 70 required CERT skills. This training is only for enrolled Hybrid CERT Basic Training students to obtain their CERT certification. Conducted by local CERT Sponsors, the training is open to all Hybrid CERT students who have completed or will complete all of the online CERT training courses prior to attending the Practical Skills Training.

This is a very energizing, activity-based training with minimal lecture focused on hands-on learning and practicing the 70 essential CERT skills including emergency medical, small fire control, and basic search and rescue techniques, among others, culminating with a disaster exercise drill.
