Sussex County Advanced Quarterly CERT Training – Emergency Communications

Emergency communications training with a focus on radio communications. Learn about the basic operations of radio communication and its usefulness in different scenarios, from a licensed radio operator. This training will cover the importance of radio communication and its every day practical uses for families and individuals. Additionally, participants will learn of the many applications and functions of radio communication during a disaster scenario. From everyday life to full blown emergency situations, this training will cover practical and useful trainings and tips that you can start practicing immediately!

The training will be held in the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and end in a short tour of the facility. This course is intended for CERT members looking to gather a better overall understanding of radio and emergency communications.
