Additionally\, participants will learn of the many applications and functions of radio communication during a disaster scenario. From everyday life to full blown emergency situations\, this training will cover practical and useful trainings and tips that you can start practicing immediately! \n\n\n\nThe training will be held in the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and end in a short tour of the facility. The course builds on ICS 100 by reviewing core ICS principles\, leadership roles\, and organizational structure\, and explains how ICS operates within NIMS to support effective\, coordinated incident management. \nUpon successful completion\, you will be able to: \n\nIdentify key ICS roles\, organizational components\, and management\ncharacteristics\nExplain delegation of authority\, management by objectives\, and command\ntransitions\nApply ICS principles to manage incidents\, briefings\, and operations\n\nThis course is intended for supervisory-level personnel involved in emergency planning\, response\, or recovery across all disciplines\, including fire\, law enforcement\, EMS\, public works\, healthcare\, education\, and other government or partner agencies or Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members looking for better understanding of the Incident Command Structure. \nAll training and course materials are provided at no cost to participants or their agencies.
