DESCRIPTION:Listen\n        \n        \nJoin us Saturday\, September 13\, 2025\, 10 am to 2 pm\, during National Preparedness Month.\nWe will be sharing tips and information on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/DelawareEMA (link opens in new tab). \nLog in and check it out! Downloadable resources are also available at the bottom of the PrepareDE Resources Page. \n\n\nFamily Emergency Preparedness Day is a FREE yearly event co-sponsored by the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA)\, Kent County Department of Public Safety\, Kent County Parks & Recreation\, and Delaware Division of Public Health’s Office of Preparedness. \nSpecial demonstrations and activities will focus on emergency preparedness.  More than 30 exhibitors provide interactive displays and free giveaway items. The first 500 attendees to complete an activity challenge will get a free treat from Kona Ice and local food truck Steele Bowl will be hand to purchase snacks and lunch.
